Description
• Ownership of the code quality through exploratory and automated testing for multiple software releases • Manage the creation, updates, and status of issues detected during test execution phases • Manage retesting, updates, and status of issues reported by our Engineering, Product, Sales, and CS teams • Perform problem-solving and root-cause analysis and support corrective actions with detailed bug reports • Troubleshoot issues to explain the root cause and report back with detailed bug reports • Participate in daily standup calls with remote teams to support issues, triage process and understand prioritization of work assignments • Ownership of QA documentation including but not limited to; test cases, test plans, and post release retrospectives
Requirements
• Although not a strict requirement, candidates for this role will typically have 4+ years of relevant work experience • Quality Assurance management tool experience required • Experience in building test plans, performance testing and knowledge of QA testing best practices • Commitment to execution with high standards, with an understanding of business impact • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills • Knowledge of technologies such as Selenium, MongoDB, Postman, Github, Jira is a plus • Proven track record of success in assuring high quality products are shipped on time in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across various levels; must be able to diplomatically persuade others and effectively drive change
