Description
• Review and edit content from authors and subject matter experts for consistency, clarity, and technical accuracy • Write help documentation for specific imagery capabilities. • Manage the Imagery Workflows website by coordinating the writing and release of documentation in a content management system • Document and share imagery projects in samples, tutorials, blog articles, videos, and help documentation • Utilize your experience with imagery products to ensure our solutions are simple and deliver a great user experience • Research and learn technical information from subject matter experts in imagery and remote sensing by working closely with product management, software development, and sales teams throughout the development and release process
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in writing technical documentation for products or developers, product support, or product testing • Ability to convey complex topics concisely, clearly, and effectively • Experience with content management system applications or technical writing tools (examples include SDL Trisoft, GitHub, Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, HTML, DITA, and more) • Bachelor's in GIS, English, Technical Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, or related industry is preferred (experience with imagery or remote sensing is a plus) • Portfolio Submission: Please provide a link to a portfolio or include samples of your recent work • Knowledge of image processing and analysis • Good understanding of web application development and modern website design • Knowledge of GIS and remote sensing • Familiarity with the ArcGIS system, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, or ArcGIS Online
