Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, highlight areas for improvement, and investigate variances • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis, including revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, sales tax and accruals • Supports the month-end close process, including preparation of monthly closing entries and ensuring accuracy of the financial records in accordance with GAAP • Assist in the coordination of the annual audit process and half year reviews, including preparation and maintenance of workpapers to support external audits • Performs regular controls testing over revenue and cash • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or audit field • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, GSuite and other financial software • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (US GAAP, IFRS) • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Strong-problem solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues • Experience in working with cross-functional teams (preferred) • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred) • Experience with Microsoft Business Central (preferred)
