Description

• Seeking to hire a skilled and motivated Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team at our Washington, D.C. headquarters • Focus on assisting attorneys with cases to ensure efficient and timely progression of the different stages of pre-litigation • Covering cases throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia • In-office position, candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of Washington, D.C. office • Drafting letters, preparing FOIA Requests, obtaining and organizing documentation, coordinating with Investigator, processing PIP/MedPay, obtaining medical records, maintaining contact with clients, preparing various legal documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred), and/or paralegal education • Minimum of 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience, preferably in practice areas for VA and DC • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver results, and maintain quality while working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. • Detail oriented and organized • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with others • Strong research skills and excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated proficiency and experience with a broad range of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Foreign language skills are considered a plus, but not required
