Description

• We are looking for an experienced Sr. Engineering Manager based in South America to join our growing team. In this position, you will lead multi-discipline engineers on our Varsity Tutors For Schools engineering team - responsible for the technologies powering Nerdy’s learning systems dedicated to supporting an ever growing number of students in the US education system. In addition, you will both inform and grow Nerdy engineering culture, furthering our drive to be the best place on earth to be a technologist. If you have a passion for excellence and a meticulous eye for detail, we want to hear from you. This position is a full-time remote opportunity!

Requirements

• 5+ years of successful leadership experience • At-scale technical architecture - you’ve designed and built complex yet performant systems. • Agile development (Scrum or Kanban) • A strong desire to learn and a passion for educational technology • Nice to have • AWS Services • Microservice experience • Test-driven development
