Description

β€’ Responsible for revenue generation for Agilent's chromatography product portfolio including GC, HPLC, and CE β€’ Managing and expanding the existing customer base and installed device base β€’ Proactively acquiring new customers β€’ Managing local sales channels from identifying new contacts and projects to closing sales β€’ Maintaining customer data and effective project management using a modern CRM system β€’ Participating in customer events and trade shows β€’ Collaborating cross-functionally with various teams including product specialists and support engineers

Requirements

β€’ University degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Physics, or a related field β€’ Experience in chromatography application (GC/HPLC/UHPLC/CE/MS), e.g. through academic work/thesis β€’ Proactive work ethic, team spirit, and interest in sales roles β€’ Fluent German is essential; very good English skills are a plus β€’ Position requires at least 50% field work with occasional overnight stays
