Description
• Protect lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system • File high-impact lawsuits and provide legal assistance and training to prosecutors • Support animal protection legislation and provide resources to law students and professionals • Manage assigned cases, research, filings, and supervise Litigation Fellows • Develop new cases and manage drafting of legal briefs and presentations
Requirements
• At least six years of experience successfully developing and litigating significant cases or projects • Must have a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to practice law in their state of residence • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment • Must travel as needed to fulfill litigation obligations
