Description

• Enhance and streamline financial reporting, technical accounting, processes, and controls • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate accounting implications • Perform technical research and prepare accounting memos • Assist on special projects and annual financial audit • Responsible for the review of financial statements and consolidation • Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting • Coordinate with the general ledger team • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities • Familiarity with NetSuite and Carta • Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards • Collaborate with process owners to establish a solid control environment • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures • Support implementation and design of new financial and accounting software • Perform special, ad-hoc projects in Accounting/Finance • Stay aware of company strategy and new products/initiatives • Excellent communication and organization skills • Combination of audit/financial accounting/technical accounting experience

Requirements

• Manage timely and accurate financial reporting • Significant experience in equity accounting and reporting • Familiarity with NetSuite and Carta • Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards • Excellent written and oral communication • Creative, ambitious, detail-oriented • Excellent organization skills • CPA certification preferred • Knowledge of blockchain and crypto innovations a plus • Experience with implementing ERP systems • Emotional connection to the soundtrack of Hamilton
