Description

β€’ Responsible for administration and maintenance of our corporate Google Workspace account; β€’ Onboarding and Training for New Hires; β€’ Perform software installation and upgrades, including planning and scheduling, testing, and coordination; β€’ Deploy laptop equipment and peripherals to new employees; β€’ Development and management of Zendesk multi-channel (email, inbound phone, chat, and form submission) ticketing system for internal and external support; β€’ Development and management of systems monitoring and alert systems. β€’ Troubleshoot system performance and failure issues; β€’ Respond to critical systems alerts and troubleshoot systems failures during evenings and weekends; β€’ Perform data backups and recoveries – and improve existing systems for higher availability. β€’ Laptop and mobile device management; β€’ Optimize networking/security for remote employee access to servers and other resources. β€’ Development of controls and auditing plans for external compliance; β€’ Proactively research new technology and software to develop and implement cost or labor-saving opportunities; β€’ Research, propose, define, design, and implement system enhancements, including software and hardware upgrades, to improve the reliability of Windows-based and Mac-based systems; β€’ Examples of software and tools we support include Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, Zendesk, Asana, Salesforce, JIRA, Wordpress, WP Engine, Lucidchart, TeamViewer, and more; β€’ Responsible for supporting end-users in several countries worldwide.; β€’ Work with a team of peers who are professional, responsible for their workload, and share a passion for what they are creating.

Requirements

β€’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work professionally in a fast-paced, team environment with internal and external contacts at all levels. β€’ Must demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills with ability to apply modern technologies, concepts, & functionality to solve problems and implement solutions. β€’ Working knowledge of email server technology, email security frameworks, and anti-spam technology. β€’ Google Workspace application and email administration. β€’ Working knowledge of DNS, Firewall, WAF, and VPN network technologies. β€’ A solid Ops foundation – you are always thinking, β€œwhat happens if this fails” when you build things. β€’ Logical and creative thinker. β€’ Familiarity supports firewall, WAF, and VPN network technologies. β€’ Experience with Amazon Web Services and background working with AWS services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, RDS). β€’ Available for after-hours support when necessary. β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
