Description

•Analyze and negotiate complex endorsement requests. •Assist with triage of submissions for risk selection. •Conduct underwriting file analysis. •Assist underwriters with essential duties and responsibilities. •Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients. •Setup rating, issue binders, and send quotes on behalf of underwriters. •Interact with brokers for information and inquiries. •Review and analyze inspection reports with brokers. •Attend broker visits when appropriate. •Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; college course work or degree preferred. •General knowledge of commercial insurance strongly preferred. •Ability to function effectively in time sensitive and high volume environment. •Flexible and adaptable to changing direction and priorities. •Autonomous in fast paced work environment. •Strong analytical ability. •Excellent oral/written communication skills. •Maintain positive working relationships with agents and brokers. •Display professional demeanor and customer service skills. •Math proficiency. •Detail-oriented with initiative to work in fast-paced environment. •Ability to work in a team environment. •Proficient with computer programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
