📋 Description

• Build, maintain and optimize data pipelines and infrastructures, ensuring that information is collected, stored, processed and made available with reliability, security and efficiency. • Ensure data quality, integrity, security and scalability across all stages of the data lifecycle. • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, product and business teams to enable data-driven solutions. • Implement and maintain best practices for data governance, cataloging and data management. • Monitor and optimize the performance of data ingestion, transformation and storage processes. • Support the definition and maintenance of data models that meet the organization’s analytical and operational needs. • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies, in alignment with applicable standards and legislation. • Contribute to the automation and standardization of processes within the data ecosystem. • Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools that increase the efficiency and reliability of the data environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields. • Proven experience in data engineering, working on the development and maintenance of production-grade pipelines. • Proficiency in data-focused programming languages, especially Python and/or SQL. • Experience with cloud tools and services (preferably Google Cloud Platform — BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Composer — or equivalents in AWS/Azure). • Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture best practices. • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, system integration and handling large volumes of data. • Understanding of data security, governance and data quality. • Nice-to-haves: • Experience with data orchestration tools. • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager). • Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines. • Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data Mesh concepts. • Knowledge of data cataloging and governance tools (Dataplex, Data Catalog, Collibra, etc.). • Experience working in agile environments with a focus on continuous delivery of value.
