• As a Sales Engineer based in Switzerland your role contributes to the business by being responsible for various types of technical aspects of the sales cycle, transmitting knowledge and information about the Axis portfolio to our partners and end customers. • You will be part of a highly competent sales organization for Middle Europe (DACH & BeNeLux) with more than 90 employees. • You are the technical expert and a trusted advisor in a sales-oriented team, providing expertise to both colleagues and customers. • You will work closely with the Axis Account- and Key Account Managers as well as other colleagues in your territory. • The Sales Engineer role will be home office based with an expected amount of travelling of up to 50% on average.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the physical security and IT markets, Including complimentary products, technologies, future trends, and the market as a whole. • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, VLAN, Hardening, etc.). • Experienced design documentation skills (schematics, flow charts, topologies, metrics, FOV, pixels on target, angles, etc.). • Strong technical writing, presentation and public speaking skills (white paper, manuals, instructions, PowerPoint presentations, etc.). • Professional communication skills (listening, written, verbal). • Ability to work independently, adapt for changes and exercise good judgement based on varying circumstances. • High level of self-initiative, self-motivation and sales orientation. • Proven record of excellent time management and multitasking ability. • Ability to convey complex technologies and specifications easily. • Positive customer-centric attitude. • To travel 50% on average within the sales territory and rare travelling to our Munich office as well as our HQ in Sweden is required. • To speak German as mother tongue and English at least on the B1 level. Italian and/or French language skills are considered to be a plus.
