• Baptist Health is looking for an Outpatient Coding Auditor/Educator to join our team. • This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN. • Serves as the Outpatient Coding Auditor/Educator by monitoring/auditing the overall quality of the outpatient coding department across all Baptist Health entities and all contracted staff. • Responsible for keeping informed and educating the outpatient coding staff on all coding guidelines including all changes and updates. • Assist with maintaining and updating the department coding guidelines. • Serves as a coding resource to answer difficult coding questions and to help with training of onboarding coders as needed.
Requirements
• High school/GED • Associate degree • 5 years outpatient coding experience • Professional License or Certification: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, COC • AHIMA member
