Description

• Drive and standardize Software Architecture and System Design for Product Data platform • Lead the Architecture and Technology Strategy for Product Data Platform • Work with Product Management, User Experience and Engineering Leadership to create future data offerings • Manage team of senior technical individuals, including Distinguished Engineers and Architects

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience • 4+ years of experience in managing teams including managers and senior technical leaders • 10+ years of experience in leading design of complex systems and hands-on development • Technical and effective people manager with proven track record for building highly scalable systems and high-performance teams • Thorough understanding of Distributed Systems concepts, Scalability/Reliability/Security challenges • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Relational/Columnar Databases (including internals) and Near-Realtime Architectures • Proficient in API Design using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC and conversant in multiple programming languages • Track record of successfully building technology strategy for complex business domains • Systems thinker with a strong desire to understand how complex systems work • Strong and effective communicator - written and verbal - synthesizing, simplifying, and articulating complex problems to different levels of audience, including executives
