Description

• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of Winona’s design system, ensuring it evolves to meet the needs of designers and developers. • Manage the design system within Figma, leveraging expansive knowledge of Figma components, libraries, and workflows to optimize efficiency. • Oversee the design system's roadmap, set quarterly goals, and manage the backlog to ensure timely delivery of components and updates. • Act as the primary liaison between the design team and the web Product Manager, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. • Develop and implement long-term strategies for the design system, aligning with Winona's business objectives and user needs. • Ensure both designers and developers adhere to established design system guidelines and standards. • Enforce consistency in design elements and patterns across all digital assets to reflect Winona’s brand identity and meet high quality standards. • Utilize knowledge of responsive design principles and front-end development to ensure that designs are feasible and scaleable, and identify improvements and enhancements to Winona’s design system. • Provide guidance and support to both the design and development teams, ensuring proper usage and understanding of the design system.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Figma, including mastery of components, styles, libraries, and their behavior on the web. • Proven experience in design systems management or similar roles. • Background in design with a strong technical focus and an eye for visual and experiential consistency. • Understanding of front-end development principles (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript). • Problem-solving skills for addressing breakpoints, responsive designs, and implementation challenges. • Ability to suggest and implement UX enhancements based on user behavior and business goals. • Proven ability to adapt and lead effectively through change in fast-paced, dynamic environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams. • Experience collaborating with diverse, globally distributed development teams. • Interest in the telehealth space and a strong motivation to advance and improve women's healthcare.
