• The Solutions Engineer – Food and Nutrition is a key technical and strategic resource responsible for supporting presales activities related to food and nutrition software solutions. • This role involves deep engagement with potential clients to understand their unique foodservice and patient feeding needs, demonstrating how software can streamline their operations, improve safety and satisfaction, and ensure compliance. • Actively participate in presales engagements, including discovery calls, solution workshops, and product demonstrations tailored to clients' needs. • Lead consultations for existing and new clients to understand food and nutrition needs and operational goals. • Provide expertise in foodservice processes, industry standards, and software applications, addressing concerns and aligning software with best practices. • Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions that align with client goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in institutional food service, with a focus on nutrition-related operations. • Knowledge of healthcare dietary regulations and standards such as HACCP, HIPAA, and Joint Commission requirements. • In-depth knowledge of food and nutrition software applications with strong technical knowledge in software configuration and troubleshooting. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible, client-focused narratives. • Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders to effectively address organizational needs throughout the presales process. • Experience in a presales or client-facing consulting role preferred. • Certification in Nutrition & Dietetics (e.g., RD, LD) or equivalent dietary management experience. • Experience using CBORD food management software preferred. • Experience consulting with clients on food operations and processes.
