• Webafrica is on the prowl for a super savvy Ground Team Manager for our Door-to-Door Sales Team, for our Johannesburg office. • If you are a spunky go-getter who’s totally customer orientated and your sales game is on fleek, then you could be the one. • Do you have a way with people? Are you a master at customer service? • The Ground Team Manager will oversee a team of door-to-door sales representatives, driving sales growth and market penetration for HGC’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) offerings. • This role involves managing, training, and motivating the sales team to meet aggressive targets, ensuring the seamless execution of sales strategies across multiple regions. • The manager will be on the ground, traveling frequently to support field operations, review team performance, and build strong client relationships.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in managing door-to-door sales teams, preferably in the telecommunications or ISP sector. • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through door-to-door sales channels. • Experience in hiring, training, and developing high-performing sales teams. • Leadership & People Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a distributed team of sales representatives. • Sales Coaching: Strong coaching and mentorship skills to help sales reps improve their performance in the field. • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and senior management. • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple teams, territories, and campaigns simultaneously while keeping everything organized. • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset to assess sales performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions. • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly address issues in the field and adapt sales strategies based on market conditions and team performance. • Extensive travel within assigned regions • Proficiency with CRM tools and other relevant sales technology. • Valid driver’s license.
