• Support the development and implementation of the Copeland Business System to drive operational excellence • Collaborate cross-functionally and with the operations leadership team for continuous improvement • Leverage lean manufacturing tools to drive operational transformation across multiple Operations sites • Significant travel (50-75%) including occasional international travel • Lead the lean operations transformation across 14 sites to achieve sustainable performance improvement • Provide master-level guidance to business unit leadership for driving process and cultural transformation • Support the architecture, development, and facilitation of Lean Business System training • Coaching and developing team members at all levels of the organization to become lean practitioners.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field; MBA or MS degree is desirable • Deep and broad knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools • Proven experience implementing Lean operations capabilities in a multi-site environment with demonstrated results • Proven experience in driving cultural and performance transformation within a mature lean business system organization • Minimum 15 years of related work experience in progressively responsible roles including those in Lean, Operations, and/or General Management • Demonstrated experience with Lean operations tools including Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Standard Work, Continuous Flow, Structured Problem Solving, Kanban, Lean Daily Management, 80/20 • Strong interpersonal, leadership, influencing, and communication skills • Ability to engage with all levels of the organization globally, including training of peers as well as executives • Outstanding group facilitation, training, communication and presentation skills • Effective and collaborative problem-solving skills • Strong business and financial acumen • Strong written and verbal communication skills; general computer skills and knowledge • Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
