Description

• Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects. • Plans and coordinates all aspects of assigned projects from initiation through delivery. • Manages technical project initiation through delivery which includes identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed. • Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables. • Identifies needed resources for projects; defines and assigns major project roles. • Assigns and monitors the work of project team, providing technical and analytical support and direction. • Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope and quality) are achieved. • Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed. • Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups in Dark Matter and/or in client organizations. • Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams, and completes a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement. • Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement and recommends and implements solutions. • Responsible for supporting new and post implementation projects for both Mid -Market and Enterprise clients. • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience • Requires 8+ years of project management experience • Project Management Certifications (PMP, CSM, ACP, CPM, etc.) • Mortgage industry experience • Experience with Dark Matter products, services, and capabilities • Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles • Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects • Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets, forecasting, and creating timelines • Skill in the use of negotiation techniques, conflict management, time management and problem solving
