Description

• Be the driving force in building and guiding the team's technical vision, ensuring alignment with our broader business goals • Lead technical decision-making, maintaining a balance between hands-on development and strategic planning • Collaborate closely with the CTO to align on the company’s strategic direction, product decisions, and roadmap for an emerging business area • Design, build, and maintain critical components of our product, from APIs to user-facing experiences • Hire and nurture talent, fostering an environment of technical excellence and innovation within the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience • 6+ years of software development experience • You have solid JavaScript skills and experience in working with TypeScript • Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what will last and scale • Experience managing remote and distributed teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills for different audiences (leadership, users, company-wide) • You thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
