Description

• Maintain the books and records for collateral managers that have outsourced middle office operations • Administer collateral/syndicated loan portfolios, including cash flows, reconciliations, trade settlements, waterfall payments, reporting, and compliance testing • Oversee daily transaction & reporting activity of assigned outsourcing relationships • Support personnel at client institutions in day-to-day routines and financial processing • Solve complex problems through research and/or communications with clients, liaisons, and internal teams • Guarantee quality service levels, perform daily servicing activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy • May select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operations • May establish operational objectives, work plans, and assignment delegation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience • Typically, at least 4 years of financial services industry experience in managing institutional assets, and one or more years of leadership responsibility • Knowledge/experience with structured finance, preferably CLO/CDOs, syndicated loans, or corporate trust securities, as well as trust systems • Understanding and direct work experience with cash reconciliations, waterfall calculations, compliance testing, financial transaction processing, data analysis, and reporting • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, colleagues, and clients (internal & external)
