• The Merchandise eCommerce Merchandising & Product Manager is responsible for deeply understanding customer needs, managing the day-to day business, while optimizing the presentation, organization, and promotion of merchandise, such as apparel and collectables, throughout Ford.com. • This role will be the eCommerce merchandise subject matter expert and work cross-functionally with other merchandisers, product managers, engineers, analytics, research, agency, and business partners to execute on these actions. • The person will need to work EST hours and there is expected travel to the Dearborn, MI area approximately one week 6X/ year. • For Southeast MI residents: The job is posted as remote unless the selected candidate lives within 50 miles of Dearborn, MI.
• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience • 3+ years of eCommerce Merchandising AND Product Management experience • 1+ years of Shopify Site Management with 3rd party fulfillment experience • MBA or other Master’s Degree (even better) • Experience working with Adobe Suite of Products – including AEM, Target, Analytics and Audience Manager or similar • Automotive industry, Brick & Mortar Merchandising, Agency and/or Product Management experience (even better) • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills with proven utilization of information to drive results-oriented decisions and measure results (even better) • Experience communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels (even better) • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, self-starter with a proactive attitude (even better) • Comfortable working in a fast paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis (even better) • Ability to break down complex tasks or requirements into simpler, more manageable tasks identifying clear pros, cons, issues, obstacles, and dependencies (even better) • Delivers results consistently even under tough circumstances (even better) • Experience leading cross-functional teams (even better) • Experience managing agency/partner relations (even better)
