Description

• GEICO is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with a passion for building high performance platforms. • You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition to a tech organization. • The ideal candidate has broad technical knowledge from front-end UIs through back-end systems. • Utilize programming languages like Python, C#, SQL, and NoSQL databases. • Provide operational support on Commercial services portfolio and troubleshoot across multiple applications.

Requirements

• Experience with design and development of ALM features • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills • In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms • Advanced understanding of monitoring concepts and tooling • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code • Advanced programming experience within the .NET framework • Proven understanding of microservices oriented architecture • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle • Experience managing user Access, Service management on VM • Ability to understand System design architecture topology diagrams • Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines • Experience architecting and designing new and current systems • Advanced understanding of DevOps concepts • Experience and knowledge with Enterprise Cloud platforms • Experience in security protocols and products • Experience working as an Infrastructure, Middleware, DevOps engineer • Knowledge on DNS resolution, subnet masking, firewall concepts • Experience with software tools such as Microsoft ADO, SharePoint, PowerBI • Advanced hands-on experience creating Grafana operational dashboards • Experience in application monitoring and performance assessments • Experience with data visualization tools • Experience with Automation scripting • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell, Ansible, Puppet • Knowledge on SQL queries, Java, and .NET is required • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent Communication skills • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
