Description

• Responsible for a wide range of accounting and payroll functions, including general ledger accounting and payroll allocation across multiple companies. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. • Analyze financial data and identify trends. • Allocate payroll costs to appropriate companies, general ledger accounts and cost centers. • Ensure accurate allocation of payroll expenses to specific projects or departments. • Reconcile payroll allocations to general ledger accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. • 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting. • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and payroll regulations. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). • Advanced Excel skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Experience with multi-company payroll processing and allocation preferred.
