Description

• Deliver a first-rate experience to terminating employees at Leidos. • Review and process termination requests submitted via HCM system or email. • Prepare separation documents for departing employees. • Track involuntary employee separations throughout the notice period. • Serve as key POC for employees during the termination process. • Respond to inquiries from employees and line management.

Requirements

• Ability to apply critical thinking skills to complex issues. • Ability to use deductive reasoning to assess multi-faceted questions and problems. • Extensive experience supporting internal customers in a specialized HR capacity. • Commitment to outstanding customer service, both internal and external. • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make connections with customers in writing. • Experience resolving complex issues utilizing external resources and escalating internally when appropriate. • Experience working with and independently interpreting internal policies and procedures to ensure continuity of HR business services. • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced environment. • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree coupled with 2+ years’ experience in human resources, benefits, or other relevant field.; OR an Associate’s degree coupled with 4+ years’ experience in human resources, benefits, or other relevant field.; OR a High school education or equivalent and 6+ years’ experience in human resources, benefits, or other relevant field.
