•Job Title: Director of Business Operations •Location: San Jose, CA, Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, Atlanta, GA, Pittsburgh, PA or Hybrid/Remote •Travel: Required Occasionally •Reports to: Chief Financial Officer •Job Summary: Lynx Software Technologies (Lynx) is a mission-critical solutions provider primarily for Aerospace and Defense customers. Lynx aims to enhance the economics for customers and ecosystem partners, facilitating the design, development, deployment, and service of high-assurance edge applications through innovative and modular open standards-based solutions. This role will be instrumental in shaping and refining our operational processes, driving M&A integration efforts, optimizing enterprise systems, and driving scalable, profitable growth. This role will work closely with Finance, Professional Services, Engineering, Product and Sales teams.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field •10+ years of experience in business operations, preferably within the embedded software, professional services, technology or government contractor sectors. •Proven experience in strategic planning, process improvement, enterprise systems and change management. •Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling and KPI tracking. •Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing cross-functional teams. •Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate insights and data into actionable recommendations for leaders and engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. •An understanding of government contracting regulations (FARs/DFARs), ITAR and related compliance requirements is preferred, but not required. •Familiarity with the following tools is a bonus, but not required: Salesforce, CloudCoach or Netsuite •15-25% travel required, depending on location
