• The Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis is a key finance position reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis. • This position will collaborate with FP&A, commercial and operation finance in the development and preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting as well as ad hoc request from finance senior leadership. • This role is responsible for the complex and interpretive financial reporting centered on management’s consolidated internal financials. • In addition, the Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis will assist in identifying to management potential areas of opportunities, enhancement and risk involved in the reporting process. • Development and maintenance of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules reviewed by senior leadership. • Assist in analysis and commentary for variance of actuals versus prior year and forecast or budget. • Serve as financial administrative backup to financial reporting system (EPBCS). • Provide insight and recommendations to streamline current reporting process. • Engages regularly in special projects related to company-wide finance & accounting efficiency improvement goals. • Learns and navigates through multiple reporting systems. • Consistently demonstrates the MasterBrand Way, positioning the company for growth and helping identify opportunities to reduce waste, complexity, and improve our work environment. • Demonstrates teamwork by responsively collaborating with the Corporate Finance management and staff, sharing information and ideas, proactively seeking, and accepting constructive feedback, and accepting additional assignments when appropriate. • Identifies self-development needs and seeks opportunities to work on areas that will further develop skills. • Participates in company efforts related to ethics and compliance activities.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience required. • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience of increasing responsibility within accounting, finance, and/or financial planning and analysis management preferably in a manufacturing organization. • Understanding of and experience with the interpretation and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles with experience in internal or external reporting a plus. • Strong to advanced skill level with Excel formulas including index, match and v-lookup functions and experience with Microsoft Office suit (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel). • Prior experience with reporting software such as Essbase, Hyperion or BPC a plus. • Strong organizational and execution skills. • Must be capable of moving assignments forward with high quality execution and minimal supervision. • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills. • Positive and solution-orientated attitude and approach. • Effective communication (written and verbal); clearly, concisely and with context communicate objectives and expectations within the organization. • Ability to critically assess and simplify processes and controls, and challenge business drivers and risks. • Ability to travel a minimum 3 times annually (domestic), less than 5%.
