Description

• Miovision’s Software Quality team works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver valuable, working software • Our Software Quality Automated Test Engineers are deeply embedded throughout the product development and operations cycles • This role ensures our software products meet the highest quality standards through effective automated testing strategies • You will be responsible for embedding automation testing into our development process while collaborating with our DevOps team • The role enhances the quality and reliability of our front-end and back-end services while scaling test automation best practices • Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks • Lead the integration of performance and load testing into the automation framework • Continuously push the boundaries of test automation by developing innovative tools, techniques, and strategies • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to understand requirements • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases • Identify and drive opportunities for automation within the software development process • Document testing processes, results, and issues clearly

Requirements

• University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline • 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Automation Testing in an Agile or Agile-like environment • Strong expertise in test automation frameworks, namely Cypress, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber • Experience with programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, and/or Java • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and related processes • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with a meticulous attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams • Experience with Jira or other equivalent project management software tools • Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
