Description

• Seeking an experienced Director of Bioinformatics. • Lead team in analyzing large-scale, multimodal data. • Drive development of cutting-edge algorithms for personalized patient care. • Oversee analysis of large biological datasets for clinical relevance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies. • Lead and mentor bioinformaticians and AI/ML scientists. • Translate research into actionable results for clinicians. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain documentation. • Stay current with methodologies in bioinformatics and genomics.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field. • 8+ years in bioinformatics or computational biology, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role focused on NGS and/or imaging data. • Proficiency in Python, R, and Linux, with expertise in data analysis tools and machine learning techniques for multimodal data. • Expertise with high-throughput sequencing, liquid biopsy, and/or histopathology data in oncology. • Strong understanding of oncology and use of multimodal data in oncology research. • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
