Description

• We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join our Payments Processing group. • This group focuses on developing and maintaining world-class payment solutions, including PINpad and card reader integration and processor/acquirer connectivity. • Rigorous and automated testing is critical for maintaining these integrations. • Reporting to the Engineering Manager for the Windows/Linux Payment Devices Team, you will work closely with development teams to design, execute, and document both manual and automated tests, ensuring high-quality software delivery. • The ideal candidate has a solid background in software testing, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing. • They are detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Their keen eye for detail allows them to catch issues before they impact users. • With excellent communication and collaboration skills, they work seamlessly with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to integrate quality into every stage of the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience • Proficiency in C# and Java • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server) for data validation. • Knowledge of security testing practices and standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten). • Skilled in test automation frameworks. • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with TestRail or other Test Management tools is desirable • Exposure to the Payments industry and/or PCI/DSS is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
