Description

• Are you passionate about delighting customers in the open-source database space? • The Product Manager for MySQL is responsible for inbound and outbound product management efforts. • Goal is to further MySQL adoption and Percona’s commercial success. • Collaborate with customers, partners, and tech leads at Percona to create product strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

• Developed a strong understanding of MySQL or other open-source databases • Product management experience with enterprise IT software • Strong understanding of customers’ business challenges • Proven technical background in software development or operations • Experience working with inter-departmental stakeholders • Ability to lead without requiring authority • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and self-managed • Language skills: English fluently • Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills • Willing to travel occasionally on business • Willingness to adjust working schedule for customers in different countries
