• Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading provider and advocate of high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care for all people • Provides leadership, partnership, and resources to ensure governance practices reflect the values of Planned Parenthood • Responsible for leadership development and best practices for affiliate CEOs • Supports affiliate Boards of Directors with CEO recruiting, retention, evaluation and transitions • Engages with diverse stakeholders to maximize engagement of Federation stakeholders • Monitors threads and trends for affiliates to thrive • Oversees technical assistance and consulting services to strengthen governance and leadership practices

Requirements

• At least 15 years of directly related experience, including experience in an executive level role preferably at a nonprofit or healthcare setting • Experience with a federated or membership organization is strongly preferred • A degree in business administration, nonprofit management or organizational leadership is preferred • Experience providing consultative services to C-suite executives and non-profit Board leaders • Excellent skills in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders • Understands the importance of working collaboratively and also confidentially • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and social justice • A record of success managing and developing a diverse and talented staff • Outstanding oral and written communication skills including public speaking • Ability to manage through influence when working with organizational leaders • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, high priority projects • High emotional intelligence quotient (EQ) • Ability to effectively resolve conflict using interpersonal communication skills and effective management techniques
