• Analyze incoming web traffic from affiliate partners, focusing on identifying fraud patterns, traffic anomalies, and suspicious behavior. • Monitor and audit affiliate traffic to detect fraud at scale, across groups of users (e.g., clusters of 10, 100, 1,000 users). • Close traffic-based vulnerabilities, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks within affiliate networks and traffic sources. • Prepare analytical reports detailing the results of fraud audits and propose strategies to mitigate risk based on data insights. • Recommend changes to traffic flows and affiliate practices to prevent future instances of fraud, abuse, or low-quality traffic sources. • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, finance, compliance) to align on traffic quality standards and communicate audit results. • Conduct regular checks (daily, weekly, and monthly) on high-risk traffic sources, ensuring consistent monitoring and fraud prevention efforts.
• 1+ year of relevant experience as a Fraud Analyst, specifically focused on traffic fraud within affiliate marketing or similar fields. • Strong understanding of web traffic analysis tools and metrics, with the ability to detect anomalies and fraudulent patterns. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and experience with traffic monitoring software. • Hands-on experience with bonus abuse prevention and the ability to calculate wagering requirements and assess traffic quality based on data. • A proven track record of identifying and mitigating multi-account setups and other forms of traffic-based fraud. • Analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for reporting and presenting findings. • Solid knowledge of affiliate marketing practices and understanding of how traffic is generated, monitored, and manipulated. • At least an Intermediate level of English for effective communication and reporting.
