Description

• Responsible for providing scientific and operational expertise for clinical trials. • Manages relationships with external partners to ensure timelines and deliverables are met. • Participates in clinical strategy, trial design, and protocol development. • Manages PTC's relationship with assigned investigator sites and vendors. • Conducts periodic review of clinical trial data to ensure timely, consistent, and accurate data flow. • May manage, coach and mentor direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and a minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible US and/or global experience in clinical research. • Comprehensive understanding of the drug developmental process. • Thorough knowledge of clinical trial design and operations. • Comprehensive knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines. • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing, coaching and mentoring direct reports. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external team members. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
