Description
• Responsible for accounting of a portfolio of properties • Prepares and assists with review of monthly financial statements for 7+ properties • Owns financial accuracy of income statement and balance sheet • Primary point of contact for Property General Managers • Works directly with Property General Managers to review financials monthly • Prepares Balance Sheet Reconciliations and supporting documentation • Assists with annual external audits as needed • Implements accounting policies and procedures
Requirements
• Accounting or finance degree, or relevant experience • 3+ years Experience in real estate accounting • Yardi experience is a necessity • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies & software • Experience in optimizing accounting processes • Experience in training property-level teams on accounting
