Description
• Operate, improve, and extend ShipHero’s infrastructure. • Support engineering teams in enhancing the performance of workers and webservers • Collaborate within the rest of Engineering Team to address performance and reliability challenges in infrastructure. • Work in digital transformations and migrations to ensure our technology remains up to date • Automate infrastructure management through code for consistency, scalability and security.
Requirements
• Strong experience with the AWS ecosystem (ECS, EC2, Networking, S3, Lambda, Route53, SQS) • Strong experience with CI/CD • Strong experience with IaC like Terraform • Enjoy working with Python, Docker and have an understanding of how to debug and maintain infrastructure • Nice to have: stream processing like Kafka or Kinesis, knowledge in transactional and non-transactional databases
