Description

• Develop and execute DevRel strategies to grow and engage the Apache Pinot community. • Create and deliver technical content, including blogs, webinars, tutorials, and sample applications. • Represent StarTree at industry events, conferences, and meetups, serving as a key advocate and thought leader. • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve developer experience and integrate community feedback into StarTree’s offerings. • Lead initiatives to build partnerships with other technology providers to produce joint DevRel content. • Act as the voice of the community, providing feedback to engineering, product management, and the executive team to guide development priorities. • Mentor a growing team of developer advocates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Developer Relations, Technical Advocacy, or a similar role within a tech-driven environment. Also considering Pre-Sales Engineers (or similar) with strong customer facing skills. • Understanding of real-time analytics databases and cloud architectures. • Demonstrated empathy with proven ability to understand developer needs, advocate for them, and build solutions that enhance their experience and success. • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible content. • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and user success.
