Description

• Research, write, and refine technical articles for the Microprocessor Report. • Expected level of output is between 1 and 2 articles per week. • Share expertise through content review and feedback to other analysts and providing industry perspective and knowledge to other internal teams. • Engage product management and product marketing across business units to provide useful and provocative perspectives on product direction and messaging. • Provide strategic leadership through continuously observing the external landscape for opportunities to further develop technical analysis and competitive intelligence products. • Participate in client meetings, webinars, seminars, and external events/conferences to strengthen TechInsights presence and reputation in the market.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent experience in the microelectronics industry • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in electronics, semiconductors, or subsystems • Specifically, technical expertise in processors • Technical and marketing knowledge of one or more of the following areas: PC/server CPUs, Smartphone processors (including wireless subsystems), Automotive processors (e.g., ADAS, autonomous driving), Embedded processors (e.g., infrastructure, consumer electronics, IoT) • Strong writing and communications skills • Ability to produce well-structured, grammatical, and easy-to-understand documents • Strong technical accuracy and attention to detail • Demonstrated an ability to use both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methodologies to provide insights • Ability to think critically recognizing underlying issues and implications of technical decisions • Capacity and desire to network, build contacts, and connections • Ability to effectively work independently and consistently meet deadlines • Ability to work closely and virtually across business units and geographies
