📋 Description

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations). • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. • Produce statutory financial statements and tax filings in line with Canary Islands and Spanish regulations. • Support the preparation of US GAAP financial statements and reporting packages for U.S. stakeholders. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring, and variance analysis. • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors, preparing required documentation. • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. • Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reports for management decision‑making.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational or consultancy environment. • Solid knowledge of Canary Islands / Spanish accounting and tax regulations. • Proven experience with US GAAP (reporting, adjustments, reconciliations). • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP software. • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines. • Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English.
