No relocation assistance provided. • Accelerate growth and increase lifetime value of our relationships with new and emerging biotechs, meeting or exceeding Goal Tree metrics for success. • Actively engage new customers by bringing to bear existing relationships to develop influential connections and identify new partnership opportunities. • Act as the primary point of contact to streamline the customer experience, engaging divisional colleagues as necessary. • Translate deep customer insights into meaningful partnership opportunities that deliver value to both our customers and Thermo Fisher. • Lead the AMTs in demonstrating our wide range of capabilities to craft innovative, science- and customer-focused solutions for territory and account strategy. • Develop strong, influential relationships with a wide network of internal and external collaborators, enabling our divisional colleagues to connect with customers. • Work closely with customers and industry organizations to develop a deep understanding of focus technology areas and organizational imperatives, as well as the competitive landscape. • Act as the primary interface between our strategic partners and Thermo Fisher, sourcing new needs/opportunities and supporting resolution of critical issues. • Formulate and recommend pricing strategies and negotiate complex deal structures. • Build a successful, inclusive, and trustworthy work environment that fosters our 4i values.
• B.Sc. degree in a Life Science major • An MBA or professional business education is highly desirable • Experience in a life science laboratory is preferred • equivalent experience in a scientific field such as biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology • Minimum of 5 years in an account management or business development position within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, contract research or laboratory supply sectors • Experience working within a matrix environment and driving alignment on a common purpose despite occasionally competing/conflicting interests • Strong understanding of business and financial competence, including knowledge of the drivers, dynamics, and trade-offs of the P&L • Deep and sincere passion for crafting an inclusive, encouraging, and collaborative team environment • Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and similar programs • Positive attitude and resiliency to changing business environments • High level of motivation and ability/willingness to spend significant time on site at customer locations • Travel 0-25%
