•Designing and creating visually striking effects, including explosions, smoke, fire, and other dynamic elements •Collaborating with the art and design teams to understand the game’s vision •Implementing VFX in the game engine, optimising performance while maintaining visual fidelity •Participating in brainstorming sessions to explore innovative ideas •Iterating on feedback from team members and play testers •Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new tools
•A minimum of 3 years of experience within real-time Visual Effects •Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Unreal Engine, Unity •Strong artistic skills with a keen eye for detail, color, and composition •A solid understanding of particle systems, shaders, and lighting techniques •Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams •Bonus qualifications: •Experience in Houdini, Embergen or similar software •Shipped at least 1 AAA or equivalent game •Strong Tactical shooter interest
