Description
• Responsible for analysis and review of financials including the monthly accounting close process and assisting with the timely and accurate preparation of monthly reports and annual financial statements. • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other general ledger accounting functions. • Prepares BS and PL account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts, understands the nature of the balances, follows up on open items, and fixes any discrepancies. • Systems process improvement and documentation of processes. • Assist in the Company’s annual audit process. • Research accounting or reporting issues identified.
Requirements
• Experience in Journal Entries posting and accounts analysis • Strong technical and analytical skills • Possesses advanced Excel/Google sheets skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization • Highly organized and able to pay close attention to detail • Experience using Power Query or BI tools is a plus • ERP experience is a plus • Experience in audit firm (Big4) is a plus
