Description

• As a Team Leader for Large Language Models, you will be responsible for steering a dedicated team towards the development and training of cutting-edge language models. • This role involves leading the efforts in creating sophisticated AI solutions that understand and generate human-like text, optimizing model architecture, and customizing training processes to achieve groundbreaking results in natural language processing. • This position requires a proactive leader who excels in communication, management, and strategic planning, committed to delivering technologically sophisticated products while nurturing an innovative team culture. • What will you do: Technical Leadership and Project Management: Establish and monitor precise technical objectives for your team, ensuring consistent progress tracking and milestone achievement in alignment with broader organizational goals. • Collaboration and Technical Content Delivery: Engage closely with the Product Manager to deliver critical technical content, including roadmaps, estimates, and milestones. • You will also be responsible for the creation of detailed documentation and the execution of feasibility studies for new projects. • Business Alignment and Stakeholder Engagement: Lead business discussions and negotiate project scopes, ensuring that our project objectives are in harmony with and support the strategic needs and business drivers. • Your role will be crucial in analyzing, understanding, and addressing these constraints to meet the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders. • Team Mentoring Coordination and Accountability: Manage and oversee the assignment of tasks within the team, ensuring workflow is well-organized and team members are accountable for their deadlines and the quality of their work. • Conflict Resolution and Facilitation: Conduct negotiations, resolve conflicts, and facilitate meetings to promote a collaborative and productive team environment.

Requirements

• Educational Background: An advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related field is required. • A Ph.D. is preferred, though a Master's degree with significant research experience in these fields will also be considered. • Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of machine learning and NLP algorithms, neural model architectures, and training techniques. • Your experience should include designing and implementing machine learning solutions in a production environment, particularly with large language models (LLMs). • Leadership in Team Management: You have prior experience leading small teams, providing mentorship, and coaching less experienced members. • Your leadership fosters an environment of growth and learning. • Performance Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, set and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with client-side stakeholders, ensuring project objectives and timelines are met. • Communication and Leadership Skills: You possess strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team and influencing outcomes. • Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategies to a variety of audiences is crucial. • Stakeholder Engagement: You are adept at decrypting unclear requirements from stakeholders and driving for clarity to ensure that the right problems are addressed, enhancing project alignment with strategic goals. • Conflict Resolution : Your ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts within the team or with stakeholders ensures that projects proceed smoothly and efficiently under your leadership. • Proven Track Record: You have a history of successfully shipping machine learning products, demonstrating your capability to turn innovative ideas into practical applications.
