Description

β€’ The Enterprise Payment Business Development Consultant develops profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability from existing accounts. β€’ Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. β€’ Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs. β€’ Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales. β€’ Manages the on-going account relationship with existing customers. β€’ Establishes and maintains internal relationships. β€’ Establishes and maintains good public relationships with the community to enhance the organization's image and develop new business. β€’ This position also requires ten or more hours of driving per week conducting meetings with bank partners and clients.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience β€’ Nine or more years of product sales experience β€’ Ability to travel β€’ Enterprise or Mid-Market level selling experience working with C-suite level customers β€’ Experience selling merchant processing/acquiring preferred β€’ Extensive knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices β€’ Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal β€’ Requires solid decision-making and problem solving skills β€’ Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks β€’ Effective pipeline management across leads (self-generated, partner and marketing leads) and opportunities β€’ Ability to build strong sales pipelines and work based on a quota β€’ Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, and clients β€’ Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets and competitive intelligence β€’ Maintain advanced knowledge of trends in the payments industry β€’ Able to act independently to resolve highly complex problems β€’ Have an established track record in sales, and involvement in industry β€’ Considerable knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends β€’ Considerable knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations β€’ Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills β€’ Strong negotiation and decision-making skills β€’ Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance β€’ Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously β€’ Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
