• Lead design and implementation of next-generation cloud-native data platform • Ensure cost efficiency, scalability, reliability, security, and compliance • Collaborate closely with the CTO's office and multiple Data Engineering teams
Requirements
• 12 total years of experience • 5 years of experience leading teams of 20+ people • 7 years of hands-on, technical experience building and scaling multi-petabyte big data systems as a lead or principal engineer • Experience running data platforms on the GCP native stack at petabyte scale • Experience with real-time data processing technologies • Experience with modern data workflow orchestration systems, such as Apache Airflow or similar • Experience with successful migrations of petabyte-scale data platforms to the cloud (preferred) • Experience with cloud-native Data Quality and Data Observability solutions (preferred) • Experience using LLMs and APIs for developer and data user productivity (preferred) • Experience implementing efficient cost savings and platform optimization strategies on the cloud (preferred)
