Description
• Identifying and neutralizing – at scale – malicious activity targeting Yahoo users or using Yahoo products. • Analyzing and actioning intel from strategic internal partners and external parties. • Evolving threat detections to prevent attacks against Yahoo users and products. • Providing investigative support, including data mining and analytics, to various internal investigative and product teams. • Feeding insights to engineering and product teams to help improve the overall Yahoo user security experience.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. • Experience analyzing the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) of web-based fraud, including spam, email scams, phishing, malware and account takeover (ATO). • Experience with big data technologies such as Splunk, MySQL or Hadoop. • Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work. • Strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams. • Comfortable performing in a remote-first environment.
