• Deliver district‑level orders, revenue, and margin results across the SCIEX instrument portfolio • Own district forecasting rigor, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly order and revenue commitments • Develop and execute district growth and action plans using DBS methodologies, visual management, and performance metrics • Build and maintain senior‑level customer relationships and key opinion leader engagement across the West region • Assess competitive and market dynamics, identify growth opportunities and risks, and implement timely countermeasures • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Service, Finance, Sales Operations, HR, IT, Legal) to achieve business objectives • Lead, coach, and performance‑manage direct reports, enabling capability development, engagement, and succession readiness
• Bachelor’s degree in a life science–related discipline or equivalent experience in technical sales • 5+ yrs experience leading individual contributors in a sales environment • Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at a district level • Demonstrated application of structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies • Experience leading and operating effectively within a remote, geographically dispersed organization • Ability to travel extensively within the S Central region, including overnight travel, as business needs require • Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
