📋 Description

• Selling, negotiating, and executing business plans. • Creating a selling story to drive the business with utilizing your Customer Account Associate (AA) and Customer & Category Manager. • Managing internal and external cross-functional departments to support the customer. • Communicating as needed with the retailer to collaborate and execute promotions. • Creating new item presentations with data specific information to hold and gain shelf space. • Creating and consistently modifying sales forecasts in each category. • Negotiating monthly promotions with customer. • Understanding customer contracts and work within guidelines to ensure policy compliance. • Managing trade spend to maximize profitability with maintaining good customer relations. • Collaborating with outside vendors to create promotional synergies. • Analyzing promotion effectiveness through IRI and other data reports. • Monitoring competitive landscape to ensure exclusivity and deter poaching from other categories. • Maintaining all necessary reporting, promotion calendars, and forecast volume as required. • Executing all Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream (DGIC) priorities. • Collaborating with team members to share best practices and drive Customer related initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a Convenience Store sales environment preferred • Experience in Ice Cream category preferred • College or Undergraduate degree preferred • Strong negotiating skills to create win win outcomes for the company and customer • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals with minimum direction and supervision. • Demonstrated solid forecasting skills and the ability to research data from all internal reporting sights
