The Sonatype journey started 15 years ago, just as the concept of “open source” software development was gaining steam. From our humble beginning as core contributors to Apache Maven, to supporting the world’s largest repository of open source components (Central), to distributing the world's most popular repository manager (Nexus), we’ve played a meaningful role in helping the world embrace the power of open innovation.

Over time, we witnessed the staggering volume and variety of open source libraries that began flowing into every development environment in the world. Lead global product marketing strategies for a DevSecOps software company.

• Lead all aspects of global product marketing function in a fast-paced, high-growth private-equity backed DevSecOps product company.
• Define team-wide metrics and annual and quarterly plans and oversee the functional budget. Develop and deploy team-wide key competencies and best practices that strive to retain and grow talent.
• Serves as chief product advisor to executive leadership on Sonatype’s platform and product value messaging.

• Consistently exceed quarterly sales goals by winning new accounts and growing existing accounts while achieving success for your customers
• Use a consultative value-based selling approach to discover customer/prospect business drivers and technical requirements, and align them to Sonatype’s differentiated capabilities in competitive sales campaigns
• Become an authority in positioning and presenting Sonatype’s outstanding value proposition in meetings, presentations, phone calls, emails and proposals
