• Job Title: Technology Lead (CTO Track) • Rate: Salary + equity (TBD amounts) • Duration: Trial Period 3-6 months • Experience: Renovation, real estate, or property management experience preferred • Location: Remote (Chicago preferred) • Principal Responsibilities: Dissect the renovation process to understand the key data points to collect across each unique project to build a predictive model to estimate jobs instantaneously. • Design and develop a matching algorithm (similar to Uber matching riders and drivers) by using the predictive estimating technology to pair clients with a full suite of subcontractors based on figure cost and schedules • Integrate with existing project management software (e.g., BuilderTrend). • Assisting other departments in using technology effectively • Monitoring web analytics and making recommendations that align with the company’s goals. • Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. • Develop and maintain clean, well-documented, and efficient code for both the front-end and back-end of our applications. • Design and implement user interfaces that are user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing. • Develop and maintain APIs that are secure, scalable, and well-documented. • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
